We are opting for a private ceremony right at our Trumbull home. Seana and I have already been blessed with a beautiful wedding day with many of our family and friends in attendance when we unofficially tied the knot on July 2, 2009. We didn't want to throw another "wedding" because we cherish the one we have already so very much! Today is about making it official and celebrating the continuation of our journey together as wives. So a justice of the peace is coming over this evening to lead the ceremony and sign the paperwork. My friend Jessica will be coming over to take pictures for us. And perhaps Maggie can be an impromptu flower girl!
This time around the planning was super simplified, the most important item was the license and we have picked it up already! Seana had her rings resized as they haven't fit right since she got them and we opted to have mine prettied up for the day, they are all done and waiting to be picked up!! Seana suggested we each carry some roses, hers being red and mine being white to represent the colors of our gowns that we wore for our wedding... this of course is a fabulous idea and I have already purchased them along with some other flowers and shrubbery to pretty up our yard a bit for a better backdrop!
I think it is going to be a BEAUTIFUL day!
